The Alchemist was created over nearly three months using hand-built relief detail and gilded with 24-carat gold leaf against the blackest black paint.
Inspired by the flowing lines and symbolism of Art Nouveau, the artwork explores what it means to become more fully yourself in a rapidly changing world. At its centre, a fragmented figure sits between natural and technological forms, using the tension as a catalyst for inner transformation.
This ultra-rare edition explores a colour variation of sapphire and royal blue tones. It is produced using advanced relief printing to recreate the raised texture of the original before being finished with imitation gold leaf, capturing much of its depth, tactile quality and reflective surface.
